What is Primo?

What is Primo?

Primo is a single search tool to find books, eBooks, articles, journals, video and more. 

When searching in Primo you are searching:

  • Books, DVDs, journals and other physical items found in the Library
  • Most of the library's online journal articles and newspaper content
  • The Foley Library Archives and Digital Archives
  • The ebooks and streaming videos the library subscribes to

What else can I do with Primo?

  • Renew materials you checked out, use My Account.
  • Create and save lists, save to My Research.
  • Order books from other libraries in our consortium.

Search Scopes

Setting your Scope

To start your search, select the collection you would like to search by changing the scope in the drop down menu.

Start here to find thousands of books, media, and scholarly journal articles housed at Foley and available to you electronically.

Sign in to Primo

The Sign In link is in the top right corner of the Primo Search page.

Signing In allows you to:

  • renew loans
  • place requests
  • access your library record
  • save searches for future retrieval
  • save records to your folder
  • display additional journal database records
