To get started with a research project or a literature review for a topic in psychology or related fields, use the Psychology and Behavioral Sciences database which provides access to the academic journal literature in many psychology journals.   For a more comprehesive search of the psychology literature, use PsycINFO which provides access to many more academic journals as well as book chapters and dissertations.
