eBooks, Streaming Video, and Audio

Access to all the library's electronic books and streaming media.

Different eBook vendors have various methods fro reading eBooks on your mobile device.  Guidance for each vendor is listed below. 

Ebsco eBook Collection Mobile Apps

Books available through the Ebsco eBook collection can be read via the Ebsco Mobile App.  To use the app you will need to create a personal Ebsco account.

Proquest eBook Central

To download and read eBooks from Ebook Central you will need to have the Ebook Central Reader App, which is available for mobile devices in iOS, Android app stores (search "Ebook Central) and a desktop version is available for PC and Mac computers.

  • Staff and Faculty can install EBook Central Reader App on Gonzaga managed computers by going to the computer start menu and typing Software Center, installing from the Software Center bypasses the need for administrator credentials.
  • On personal devices install the Ebook Central Reader App directly from the app stores, or from Ebook Central during the book checkout process for the desktop version. 
  • During checkout you will be provided a download code, use this code to link the app to your checked out items!

 

Taylor and Francis

To read a Taylor & Francis ebook on a mobile device, you will need to download the book or chapter. On iOS devices you may need to use the Google Chrome browser which can be downloaded form the app store. You can then read the PDF in your mobile Chrome browser or choose another app to open the ebook PDF file.
