Theatre

Established in 1967, Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre (CST) is Idaho's oldest performing arts organization. Becoming a non-profit corporation in 1984, CST specializes in production of full-scale Broadway musicals during a the months of July and August.

Our multi-talented performers are recruited nationally and many have gone on to appear in film, television, and in professional venues, including Broadway stage and tours. We also feature orchestrations performed by the region's most accomplished musicians.

Ignite! Community Theatre is a diverse group of people who have united to provide an alternative theatrical choice. Let's face it, there are more talented people in our community than there are venues or performance opportunities to keep everyone active and engaged year round. We hope to spark your curiosity, strike your interest, and kindle your hope for what our theatre organization can do to enrich our community.

Our mission is to foster and operate a volunteer live community theatre of high artistic merit.

Mission: Our group is founded on the belief that live theater provides a mechanism for interpersonal interaction not provided by television and movies, that it should be a force for political, intellectual and social stimulation, and should be relevant to the daily lives of the audience and the players. We seek to broaden the involvement of the general population by engaging issues of topical value and stimulating the analysis and discussion of the structure and goals of society.
