Library Emergency Kit (Silvestri): Librarians!

Librarians photoshopped into a Friends poster

Friendly librarians are standing by to help you during this challenging time!

Students are sometimes hesitant about "bothering" a librarian, but helping students is what we're here to do. Also, we're kind of geeks about research. We enjoy doing it! So hit us up with any questions or concerns you have.

In fact, we're so eager to help that we've given you several ways to get in touch with us:

If you have any questions about doing research, I highly recommend you click the "Schedule an Appointment" button below to schedule a Zoom meeting with me. It will take you to our booking tool. Select my name from the list of reference librarians. Any time which you see listed there is a time that I have made available to meet with students. Just select the time that works for you, and check the box for a Zoom appointment. We'll be able to meet online "face to face," and screen sharing will make it possible for me to show how I would approach researching your topic.

You can also get help right now from the standby librarian via chat:

This chat box connects you directly with the librarian at the Reference Desk during open hours. During the hours we are not open, this box connects you to a librarian at another Jesuit university.

JavaScript disabled or chat unavailable.

You can also text us at 509-730-5979.

If I am not available at a time you prefer, or you just prefer to speak to a different librarian, you can schedule a Zoom appointment with any available librarian using this button:
