Free Education Resources During COVID-19

This guide provides an overview of publishers/vendors who have made licensed content available for free during the COVID-19 outbreak, as well as other free resources.

In light of COVID-19, many publishers are making their licensed, electronic content freely available on a temporary basis to assist with the transition to online learning underway at many higher education institutions. Please contact your Liaison Librarian for assistance in working with publishers to obtain temporary access to electronic content.

The Publishers/Vendors with Free Temporary Access to Electronic Content page contains the most current information we have from publishers who have made their licensed scholarly content freely available during COVID-19, and is specifically tailored to Gonzaga faculty. If the publisher of your textbook or other course materials is not listed, your best bet is to contact the publisher directly to request permission for access to licensed electronic content.

The Open Education Resources (Always Free) page contains links to repositories where you can find open education resources (OER). OER are teaching and learning materials (including textbooks) that are always free to use, adapt and share, not just during times of crisis.

The Zag Shop Support page highlights special offers from the Zag Shop to facilitate the eLearning experience in the midst of COVID-19.
