Ebook Central
Ebook Central provides electronic books that support our undergraduate research collection. It includes over 15,000 titles from academic publishers, with new titles added weekly to the core collection. Books can be viewed online or downloaded directly to your computer or mobile device through the Ebook Central reader app. The app is availalbe for iOS and Android devices in the app store, through Software Center on Gonzaga managed devices, and can also be downloaded as part of the book download process on personal devices. Good to know:

To download and read eBooks from Ebook Central you will need to have the Ebook Central Reader App, which is available for mobile devices in iOS, Android app stores (search "Ebook Central) and a desktop version is available for PC and Mac computers.

Staff and Faculty can install EBook Central Reader App on Gonzaga managed computers by going to the computer start menu and typing Software Center, installing from the Software Center bypasses the need for administrator credentials.
On personal devices install the Ebook Central Reader App directly from the app stores, or from Ebook Central during the book checkout process for the desktop version.
During checkout you will be provided a download code, use this code to link the app to your checked out items!

Downloading the Ebook Central Reader App

The Ebook Central reader App is available for download in the following locations:

Google Play Store (search Ebook Central)
Gonzaga Software Center, for PC devices managed by Gonzaga

Checking out a book on Ebook Central

Navigate to the Ebook Central Database
Locate a book you wish to read, you can opt to read online, or select Download Book to read in the Ebook Central App on your computer or mobile device.
When you click Download Book, you will see a pop-up window, confirm your selection.
The first time you download a book you will be provided a code, enter that code in the app on your phone or other device to link your account to the device.

Login Codes to Link Devices

If you need a code to link additional devices in the future, in the pop-up window at the point of checkout, or from your profile page, select Manage Devices > Get Login Code
