ERIC is the best database for topics that relate to all aspects of educations from k-12 to higher education. It includes journals in education fields and ERIC documents that are provided by state and federal educational organizations.
Euromonitor Passport is a leading global market research database providing statistics, analysis, reports, surveys and breaking news on industries, countries and consumers worldwide.
APA PsycInfo is the new title for this database which includes over 2,000 scholarly journals in psychology and related fields, as well as books, book chapters and dissertations.
A comprehensive database for conference papers and academic journals in sociology and related fields, SocINDEX is a good place for finding ethnographic and mixed methods studies.
Primarily a citation index that covers the arts/humanities, social sciences and the sciences, the Web of Knowledge helps students find out which scholars have cited a specific journal artilce in all disciplines.
Finding Journals on Leadership
The Periodicals@Foley link will allow you to search for a specific journal by title or by keyword. It's easy to find out if the library has a specific journal and clarify if the periodical is in the library or is online. For example, Foreign Affairs is an excellent periodical for current events on Global Leadership.
Online access to nearly 1600 Gonzaga master’s level theses and doctoral dissertations from 1976-present. Access includes a 24-page preview and the full-text online, if available.
Foley Center has a complete collection of dissertations and theses written for the Ph.D., EdD and Masters of Nursing programs. There are also some theses from early masters programs in the School of Arts and Sciences. Gonzaga theses and dissertations can be found in the library catalog under author, title and subject. The library usually owns two copies of each thesis, a circulating bound paper copy located in the general collection and a non-circulating microform copy located in Special Collections.
