Native American Studies

The purpose of this guide is to support the academic goals of the Native American Studies Program at Gonzaga University. You'll find the materials, search tools, and other resources. If you need any assistance, please contact your librarian.

Journals Relating to Native American Studies

Most major academic journals relating to Native American Studies topics are now available in full text through the library's various database subscriptions. Others are made freely available online through their publishers, usually an academic institution. Many print-only journals are still useful, however, especially for local area studies or for insight into the Native--missionary intercultural encounter. Articles not available through any of these means can be requested through ILLiad, via our Interlibrary Loan Department.
