Makerspaces are a current movement becoming popular in libraries and K-12 environments. If you're looking for resources and information about them, try these resources. 

As a relatively new subject, you should look for resources in ERIC, Computer Source, Library, Information Science, & Technology Abstracts, and Newspaper Source.  Keywords to consider are:
