Secondary Research

The faculty librarians at Foley Center Library understand how challenging it can be to keep up with current secondary research methods and tools. The expansion of Foley's electronic resources puts powerful scholarship at our fingertips, but constant innovations can complicate the search process for even the most seasoned researcher. This problem is compounded when our research focus shifts from our home discipline to the scholarship of teaching and learning within or beyond that discipline.

Foley Center Library's Research Guides are designed to assist with these challenges. Faculty librarians compile and organize each research guide to serve as a portal to the best resources on a particular field of study. We invite you to explore new tools, resources and methods on this guide to aid and support you in your investigations and research related to the scholarship of teaching and learning.

This guide is a starting point to compliment the resources provided by Gonzaga's Center for Teaching and Advising. The Foley faculty librarians encourage all researchers at Gonzaga to partner with us during your secondary research process, including literature review advising and training in new electronic resources. To the left, you'll find a directory of the faculty librarians at Foley who are ready to partner with you during your research. Make an appointment with one of us today!
