November 20th is a day to both remember and honor transgender individuals who have died unjustly due to transphobic violence, as well as recognize the strength and resilience of the transgender community.
The trans experience is not the same for everyone, even though mass media often portrays it that way. We hope that the resources in this guide will show that people can experience gender and identify themselves in different ways.
