The Periodic Table of Banned Books at Gonzaga University
Gonzaga University's Foley Library will display the Periodical Table of Banned Books on the library's main floor during Banned Books Week 2025.
Gonzaga University's Periodic Table of Banned Books was inspired by the Springfield Technical Community College Periodic Table of Banned Books . Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Gonzaga's version has been adapted to reflect Gonzaga University library collections.
Each element tile on the Periodic Table of Banned Books represents a book title.
Color-coded shapes indicate the reasons the book was challenged or banned. Some books were challenged or banned for multiple reasons.
